“I couldn’t live my own life without PHARA.” - Craig

Craig, who has a physical disability, was 22 years old, and living with his mother and grandmother. He relied on his mother to provide the majority of his care. With his mother aging and seeking independence, Craig began his journey when he moved into Supportive Housing at PHARA’s 280 Oakwood Avenue location in North Bay. Seven years later, at 29, Craig is enjoying being part of the community with friends and his individuality. His mom is his mom again and not his caregiver. He directs his services around activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and keeping his home clean. Craig is active with multiple North Bay organizations, works, and is living his best life.
