“PHARA services are a gift from heaven.” - Jeff

Jeff, 74, lives independently in his own apartment in North Bay. Jeff was managing his medical challenges well on his own, until he needed knee replacement surgery. It was after his knee replacement that Jeff started accessing PHARA’s Outreach program. As his health declined and his mobility worsened, Jeff feared losing his independence, as he faced the transition to using a wheelchair. Working with PHARA, Jeff’s service level increased and he has been able to develop a plan to stay in the community and maintain his independence. Today, Jeff is able to continue to live in his own apartment and enjoy his independence.
